An ideal glazed partition for any project
The MG900 is our newest addition to the MG glazed partition range — a 35mm thick single-glazed system that delivers a Crittall industrial-chic aesthetic with genuine acoustic credentials. The system is an ideal solution to any project where design intent and acoustic performance must coexist.
Unlike standard 10mm frameless glazed partitions, the MG900's 35mm panel profile houses a composite glass construction that achieves Rw ratings of up to 33 dB — making it suitable for meeting rooms, private offices and collaborative zones where privacy matters.
The aluminium frame is powder-coated in a Crittall-style black finish as standard, but can be specified in any RAL colour to match your design or branding needs. Panels can pivot, slide or fold and interlock to form a solid glazed partition wall — or stack fully open to reveal the entire floor area.

Industrial Aesthetic, Acoustic Demands
The client required glazed acoustic sliding partitions that could deliver meaningful sound separation while complementing an industrial-chic refurbishment. Standard frameless glazed systems lacked the visual weight the design called for — the brief demanded the slim-profile, grid-patterned Crittall aesthetic without sacrificing acoustic performance.
02 — Solution
MG900: 35mm Thick Glazed System
ModernGlide specified the new MG900 — a 35mm thick single-glazed system with a powder-coated aluminium frame finished in Crittall black. The system was configured to pivot, slide and interlock, forming a solid glazed partition when closed and stacking neatly to open up the full floor area. The thicker panel profile delivers superior acoustic performance over standard 10mm glazed alternatives.
03 — Result
Flexible Spaces, Striking Aesthetic
The installed MG900 system transformed the space into a series of reconfigurable meeting rooms and collaborative zones. With the partitions closed, Rw 33 dB acoustic separation is achieved — significantly above standard glazed systems. The Crittall-style black frames became a design statement in their own right, praised by the client and their interior design team.
