A Corner Room Built for Flexible Working
This project is a great example of our new MG900 Crittall glazed acoustic sliding door system, installed to create a flexible working space within a contemporary commercial office.
The installation sits between two clear openings to form a corner room — a technically demanding configuration that demonstrates the full versatility of the MG900 system. The panel configuration consists of one fixed Crittall glazed panel at each end, with double sliding Crittall glazed doors in the centre of each opening.
The result is a private, acoustically controlled meeting space that can be fully opened to merge with the wider open-plan environment, or closed to provide focused, quiet working conditions — all while maintaining visual connectivity through the full-height glazing.

01 — The Challenge
Acoustic Privacy Without Losing Light
The client needed a private meeting and focus space within an open-plan office — but didn't want a dark, enclosed box that would kill natural light and feel disconnected from the rest of the floor.
The corner location added complexity: two separate clear openings had to be addressed simultaneously to form a coherent enclosure, requiring a system that could handle the junction cleanly while maintaining acoustic integrity across both planes.
The design brief also called for a premium aesthetic — something that would enhance the office's contemporary character rather than simply partition it.
02 — The Solution
MG900 Crittall Glazed in Corner Configuration
We specified the MG900 Single Glazed Crittall Sliding Folding Partition across both openings. Each opening was configured with fixed end panels and double sliding centre doors — forming a seamless corner enclosure.
Fixed End Panels
One fixed Crittall glazed panel at each end of both openings — providing a structural anchor and completing the enclosure at the perimeter.
Double Sliding Centre Doors
Double sliding Crittall glazed doors in the centre of each opening — fully openable to merge the room with the open-plan floor.
Corner Acoustic Sealing
The two openings meet at a corner, with the system engineered to maintain acoustic integrity at the junction point.
