Acoustic Ceiling Rafts for Commercial Interiors
PanelHush PET Acoustic Rafts are horizontal ceiling panels suspended parallel to the ceiling plane. Unlike vertical baffles — which maximise absorption through dual-face exposure — rafts sit flat and are particularly effective in spaces with lower ceiling heights where vertical baffles would be impractical or visually intrusive.
The horizontal orientation of acoustic rafts means they intercept sound energy at the point where it would otherwise reflect off the ceiling surface — the primary cause of reverberation in most commercial spaces. By converting this reflective surface into an absorptive one, PET rafts dramatically reduce echo and improve speech clarity.
