Project description:
We were thrilled to be awarded the contract to supply the acoustic movable walls at the prestigious Wentworth Golf Club. The club house was completely stripped out for a complete fit out that included three movable walls to divide the ballroom area.
Following several design meetings, we supplied three MG100 operable walls between columns that give the club maximum flexibility of use for varying size events and competitions.
The three movable walls have an acoustic rating of 53dB and park on a single point suspension. The main challenge we faced was how we would match the finish on the operable walls to the surrounding area, we agreed on a spray liqueur to a RAL colour on all panels. The quality of the finish and how well it matched the ballroom walls is excellent.
All three head tracks for the movable acoustic walls are powder coated white and fitted directly to existing steel beams. The surround to the track has an ornate bulkhead detail that compliments the décor of the area brilliantly.
Overview:
The standard and appearance of the fit out is excellent and the contractor and client are thrilled with the quality of the MG100 movable walls. They commented that as the acoustic performance was so good, they will be able to hold major events in both rooms simultaneously.
