Project Description:
We worked closely with our client to design two MG100 movable walls that form a high specification boardroom. Both partitions close on to a column at right angles and when they are open give a totally clear area.
The first MG100 operable wall has two panels that have double glazed vision panels and a full height door with a recessed handle for access into the boardroom. The finish for this partition is a matt black laminate and gives a very aesthetically pleasing appearance. The second MG100 movable acoustic wall has a more traditional veneer effect laminate and both operable walls give the appearance of solid walls when in position.
The head track that was supplied is in a powder coated black finish and is supported from the concrete soffit using a unistrut, threaded rod and steel plate framework.
Overview:
As both MG100 movable acoustic walls close onto a column at right angles, when the panels are parked the flexibility this gives the end user is amazing. The client is happy with the boardroom the panels form, the extra space the movable walls have provided and with how easy the panels move and are operated. This was a fast track project with all key dates achieved and signed off snag free.
